Explanation to the basic strategy chart:

  • - If you have from 17 to 20 on your hands, no matter what the dealer has don’t hit.
  • - If you have a 16, you should stand as well, and hit only in case the dealer has 7 or 8.
  • - If you have 15, hit only against dealer’s 7,8,9 or ace, in any other case stand.
  • - If you have 13 or 14 – if the dealer’s hands consist anything from 2 to 6, in other cases hit.
  • - If you have 12, stand only against dealer’s 4,5 or 6, hit on any other hands.

Here comes an easy and not so dangerous part of the basic strategy chart! If you got eleven or less no card in the deck can bust you after one hit. So, if you have 11 or less, do not be afraid to hit, or double if possible.

Explanation to the basic strategy chart:

It becomes a little tricky when it comes to the strategy with the soft hands.

  • - If you have an ace and 8 or 9 – stand, never hit.
  • - If you have an ace and 7 hit only if the dealer has 9,10 or ace. In other cases stand. But, if the dealer has something between 3 and 6 you should double down if possible.
  • - If it is an ace in your hands and something between 3 and 6 always hit, or double down if possible.

Maybe it would be easier to get goof free casino bonuses before start a game. But, anyway, you will certainly need to know the main strategy tip and rules to move on. So, let’s look through the chart.

Splitting is an option which give players much more place for a maneuver. But you should be careful, not all pairs should be splitted. Because of wrong splitting you are putting yourself at risk losing not just one bet, but two bets from both of your splitted hands. Just follow these simple rules:

  • - Always split aces and 8’s, it will double your chances.
  • - Never split 10, if you already have 20 points, there is not much point to split 10’s.
  • - You can split 9’s, but against dealer’s 7, 10 or ace you shouldn’t do that.
  • - Split 7’s against dealer’s hands between 2 and 7, other cases hit.
  • - Split 6’s against dealer’s hands between 2 and 6, other cases hit.
  • - Hit the pair of 5’s against dealer’s 10 or ace, in other cases hit or double down.
  • - You should split 4’s against dealer’s 5 or 6, in other cases hit.
  • - In case there are 2’s or 3’s on your hands hit them if the dealer has 8,9,10 or ace. With other dealer’s hands you should split your pairs to improve your chances.

This strategy can be applied to all blackjack games.
